Nighthawks :Nighthawks is a 1942 painting by Edward Hopper that portrays people sitting in a downtown diner late at night. It is Hopper’s most famous work and is one of the most recognizable paintings in American art. Nighthawks, 1942 by Edward Hopper — and I guess I would call the sketchpad by Jason Adam Katzenstein (Phase II) a parody?The clerk behind the counter inside the diner is wearing a facial mask and his two customers are outside the diner sitting at tables, also wearing face masks, and the tables are 6 feet apart from each other. I like it — in the new yorker, pg 19, 7 6 20.
