Incumbent and current School Board Chairwoman Ida Wright is challenged by Port Orange mom Anita Burnette and ex-Volusia County teacher Andre LaVon Grant.

The only Volusia School Board seat up for grabs in 2020 is Ida Wright’s. After formerly saying she didn’t intend to run, Wright changed her mind and is facing two challengers. Carl Persis, who is seeking re-election to his District 4 seat, is unopposed.
