The state reported two new coronavirus deaths in Volusia County and none in Flagler County on Saturday.  

Statewide, there were 224 new coronavirus deaths, bringing the total number of deaths statewide to 13,449. Volusia County now has 218 deaths and Flagler County has 23 deaths. 

So far in September, Volusia County has reported 29 coronavirus deaths. Meanwhile, Flagler County has reported eight coronavirus deaths this month, more deaths than the state recorded in any other month during the pandemic. 

The state announced an additional 3,573 coronavirus cases Saturday, bringing the number of cases statewide to 681,233.
